Tagxedo
Directions: Find at least five or more synonyms that show your understanding of racism. Once you are finished, you will write a sentence demonstrating your understanding of each synonym.
As soon as you have found synonyms, go to www.tagxedo.com. On the homepage, you will see an orange icon that says “create.”
Click here to see an example.
After you click on the “create” icon, click the first link on the left of the screen that says “load.” A large white box will appear that says “enter text” on the left hand side. Enter your synonyms into the white box, making sure to press enter after every word. You do not need to add anything to the thin white box above that says “webpage.”
Click here to see an example. I used the word "happy" as an example.
When you complete the Tagxedo, hit submit. You can play around with the color, theme, font, and shape of the object until you find the best representation of your Tagxedo. Once you are finished, save the image to your iPad and print your Tagxedo.
Click here to see an example.
On the back of your document, write a sentence for each synonym you found, using the word correctly in each sentence.
